ArtConTex is a selling exhibition bringing together, for the first time during these exciting four days, many of Essex and Suffolk’s exhibiting groups, together with individual artists and makers.
ArtConTex is being organised by Tollesbury Creative Group, a non-profit organisation that is working voluntarily with The Minories, an arts charity and gallery in an historic townhouse in central Colchester.

Textile & Weaving Activity for all ages with Sue Gascoyne

Join artist Sue Gascoyne, fellow artist and Firstsite’s Children, Young People & Families Programme Manager, Beth Hull together with the Young Art Kommunity (YAK) – Firstsite’s young people peer-led group, for some free-form weaving and textile fun. Part of the ArtContex textile takeover of The Minories, this informal drop-in session will be in the beautiful Minories garden between 11 and 3pm on 5th October. Free to attend and suitable for all ages and abilities, children need to be accompanied by an adult.
